Shifali Mehra

Shifali N. Mehra is a contemporary artist and entrepreneur based in New Delhi, India, whose work is celebrated for its surrealist depictions merging human figures with elements of nature. Trained at the

College of Art, New Delhi, and Central Saint Martins College of Art, London, Mehra’s education has been instrumental in shaping her distinctive artistic vision. 

Her paintings explore personal experiences, emotions, and cultural narratives, from examining her role as a woman in a traditional Punjabi family (King & Queen series) to capturing moments of joy and

reflection during her time in Bali (Bali Series). She describes her practice as “an internal dialogue, guided by impulse and intuition, where the canvas reveals what it wants only once the work is

underway.”

In addition to her studio practice, Mehra is the founder of Art Wonder, an art training school where she also works as an art therapist and educator.
